LA SINFONÍA DEL VIENTO, 2020
Emplazamiento escultórico con micrófonos y monitores de audio.
La sinfonía del viento es un ritual sonoro que se activa a través de un emplazamiento escultórico y del registro del sonido que se genera en el vacío interior de esculturas de barro, en relación con el ambiente donde ocurre la acción. Mediante la manipulación del llamado efecto Larsen se crea una composición que impacta la atmósfera del lugar, basada en la orientación de los cuatro puntos cardinales que se proponen como metáfora del recorrido que el dios Ehécatl tiene en sus advocaciones.
En diciembre de 2020 dicho proyecto se emplazó en el Centro Cultural Teopanzolco y se instaló al oriente en concordancia con la zona arqueológica del lugar, donde se sabe existió un adoratorio al dios Ehécatl en su advocación a Tlahuizcalpantecuhtli.
Este proyecto constituye la primera etapa de investigación de David Miranda desde el campo de la etnomusicología en vinculación con la práctica contemporánea del arte.

THE SYMPHONY OF THE WIND, 2020
Sculptural emplacement with microphones and audio monitors.
The symphony of the wind is a sound ritual that is activated through a sculptural placement and the recording of the sound that is generated in the interior emptiness of clay sculptures, in relation to the environment where the action occurs. By manipulating the so-called Larsen effect, a composition is created that impacts the atmosphere of the place, based on the orientation of the four cardinal points that are proposed as a metaphor for the route that the god Ehécatl has in his invocations.
In December 2020, said project was located in the Teopanzolco Cultural Center and installed to the east in accordance with the archaeological zone of the place, where it is known that there was a shrine to the god Ehécatl in his dedication to Tlahuizcalpantecuhtli.
